I had struggled with getting my Panasonic SC-HT940 hooked up to operate as indicated.

Could never get the proper help from where I bought the unit in order that the TV audio play on the surround speakers.

Behold, someone on this board had told another poor fellow to run the system thru a VCR and don't you know, that hint solved my problem.
