this is my first htib system and when I hooked it up the dvd player works fine, but when I connected my tv to it i get a horrible buzzing noise through the speakers. What could this be??
my setup

sci atl set top box

I had to connect it straight from the sci atl set top box. Is there another way? my tv only has a spdif digital audio out, and the reciever only has the red and whitte rca in. |

If the receiver only has analog (red/white) audio input you will not be able to use the digital output of your TV.
Check the set top box if it has analog outputs that can connect to your Panasonic. |

I used the analog ouputs from the cable box to the reciever but that is when I get the buzzing noise from all the spekaers, what could this be from? |

Check if the cables you have are not damaged in any way. |
