I bought Bose® Acoustimass® 5 Series II system, however I have a sub/woofer I like. I do not want to use the sub/woofer that came with the system. Yes therefore I lose my passive crossover for the cubes. Q: Can I make a 12db passive 200 hz crossover and the cubes works and sound good? Or does the bose crossover have special mojo that will make worlds of difference? Has anyone made their own X-over for the bose cubes and how did they sound and what was the db(6-12-18-24) and the x-over point(hz)? Thanks - Matt |

You probably should have visited this site before spending money on your Bose system. Most here would suggest you returning it and buying a speaker system that is less proprietary (plays well with others) and provides better performance for the price. |

Can you return the Bose? Why spend your money on a system and then not use all of it? You can get a much better system for the money. If you bought it for the diminutive size of the speakers, take a look at Orb. |
