FYI, based on the two sony dvd's I've had, there is a remote code to enter a hidden engineering menu. Unfortunately, to change the region settings, both the dvd player needed a special sony engineer's remote. However, using a laptop's IR port, you can do the same thing with some free remore software. I think I may have found all this out at the above link. |
