Hi guys,

I expect excellent performance from my equipment. The problem with this is, I don't like to spend money. So, while I find the cash for a new center channel, it was recommended that I use a phantom center channel, as opposed to current crappy Panasonic. By the way, the speaker that was recommended was B&W or DefTec ($350 or so). Anyway, what is the consensus on this phantom effect?

On another matter, here is a really open-ended question that I would also appreciate input on, optical vs. dig coax?

Lastly, I am considering subwoofers, so, how are HSU subs, specifically in the $250 to $500 (maybe) price range?

Thanks for your help everyone,
Stefan

HSU subs are excellent in any of the price range.
