Hi Guys / Gals, I am setting up a home theatre in a 6 x 3.5 metre room and have a Sony VPLHS60 projector, a 120" screen, a Sony DVPNS76H DVD Player, a Sony STRDG700B Receiver and Wharfdale RS-10 speakers. I have been told that all Sony equipment will run HDMI. Can anyone out there help with the set-up ie. what am I plugging in to what, etc. Am I best to use the HDMI as opposed to the normal components? I have yet to purchase cables as I didnt know what I require. If I am out of my depth can anyone suggest someone in Auckland, New Zealand that can set this system up properly? Cheers, Mickey |

HDMI is a very good connection and convenient, and the only way to use the upconversion on your DVD player. It's possible that you can use the receiver as an HDMI switching station for the DVD and a HD cable box. Where did you buy your equipment? You may be able to get help there. |
