I just bought a new PS3 from Craigslist. I brought it home and hooked it up to my 50" WEGA SXRD with a high quality Acoustics Research HDMI. By the way, I am only discussing the video aspect. The picture quality was incredible. The Talladega Nights Blu-Ray was a night and day difference from my SD Talladega Nights disc. The only complaint I have is that, while the quality was very high, it lacked the over-the-top WOW factor that I got from seeing tvs in the showroom. Has anyone had a similar experience? I would really like to know. Also, Berny and David, the Marantz reciever will be here next week so I will see how well it drives my DCMs.
