Looking for advice in choosing a sub. My room size is 11 by 12feet, w/ 8 ft ceilings. Walls are plaster/lathe, so acoustically it's quite nice. I have an Integra DTR6.4 receiver, paradigm mini's for fronts, paradigm cc-170 center, and paradigm ADP170 surrounds. Not sure if matching the sub with the rest of the speaker set is critical...opinions? |

hmmm, let's say $200-$500 - a little limited. I've looked at some of the Velodynes, STS, and Outlaws. Also some used Paradigm PS 1000's with the idea that it would match the current config, but unsure if I want to take a risk on used speakers. |

Take a look at HSU, they also make them for Outlaw. Velodyne would be my next choice. |
