Welcome to Ecoustics!

I like your system, and it seems you know what was the best to buy for your needs. I'm still a little shaky in Definitive though. I know it sounds good, of course.

I'm still in progress on my system though.

thanks .. Ya, I've found that Def Tech would not be everyones choice butt with my room setup the way itis, it works best with movies more then with music. Took many yrs to get to this point. Really enjoy it. Photos are in my profile.

thanks. I need to reposition the audio rack. It takes up alot of space. I'm pleased with the back lighting. Real easy to install and program with my current remote. I placed one 23" light bar behind each front speaker, one behind plasma, 14" bar behind each sub and 23" bar behind the couch.
I attached link to the site where I purchased them. http://www.illuminaire.com/

why did you get a new reciever you didnt like the Onkyo?? does your back light change color with the color on the screen like those Phillips amber lights or does it stay blue. i really like that touch and thinking about getting it with mine you can control it with the harmony??

The Onkyo worked great but at the time of upgrading, I wanted to keep all equipment the same. The AMP and receiver match. Not because the Onkyo didnt perform. The lighting is blue but you can purchased kits that can change 4 different colors. I decided to go with just one color. The pictures are brighter and did not turn out as good as it really looks. Yes, the harmony works great, very easy to setup.

I also like it but through the years of trial and error, I've found that the picture is only as good as the signal coming in. High def satellite box makes the difference and Cabling just as important. Just my opinion.
