I did this comparison of HDDVD vs DVD using my new XBox360 HDDVD player. My projection screen is 108", and I used a digital camera to take pictures.. Check it out...

Hi i put that info on the webpage, but the DVD was through an Oppo 971h upconverting DVD Player connected to the projector through HDMI, set to 1080i (letting the projector scale it down to native 720p).
The Xbox360 HDDVD Addon is connected through the xbox via component cables @ 1080i as well. |

Hmmm i guess reglar dvd's dont look to great, i may ahve to look into a Hddvd or blueray player

I hate that we're in the middle of another format war. As badly as I want HD DVD or Blu Ray, I don't want to be stuck with one or the other when it tanks. I'll wait until they make a computer drive that handles both formats or a clear winner is named. |
