I am in the process of selecting a sub woofer to go along with the Energy 5.2 series speakers for my new set up. I am either going with the Energy S10.2 sub or the HSU STF-2 sub. My overall set up for audio is a Denon 2803 receiver, Denon DVD1200 and the Hitachi 60VX500 Director Series is coming home next week. I have not ordered my 5.2 speakers yet, but read many reviews and all positive. The same goes for the Denon equpment. I am surely open to any and all suggestions for receivers/dvd/speakers that will all compliment each other. From my readings here, the selection above should be pretty decent.... I will sit back and wait for your thoughts and lastly, any suggestions on where to buy a stand for the TV? The set is 64" wide and finding a stand that won't need a second mortgage is not easy.

Why not buy the sub that is designed to be used with the Take 5.2 package? |

I think it is good match. I have Denon-1804 and
ENETRGY 4x XL-150 with XL-S8 sub. I am happy, it
sounds much better in my space that I expected.
That was my budget. Money is a key.
You get what you spend $$$.
