Remote Range Xtender, Infrared Remote Extender, Powermid or
Hot Link Pro? i was thinking the Powermid might be the easiest/cheapest way to go. i want to put the samsung home theather/dvd and direct tv box in a broom closet behind the back wall of our bedroom where the flat panel tv will be mounted. i also saw the Terk Remote Extender Kit at http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Terk-...oductDetail.do

The Powermid is the easiest/simplest of them all, similar to the Terk Leapfrog. Just make sure that the receiving unit that will be placed with your components is able to "see" all the components, otherwise it won't work. You can't put it on top of the dvd-player on one shelf and expect the signal to transmit to the satellite box on another shelf, the unit has to be in front of both of them.
