Hey guys I was wondering what I should get if I were putting a new home theater system into my house. I know a good bit about it but I'd like to hear your opinions.

New construction, room size, budget? I like Denon receivers, Paradigm speakers and Outlaw Audio subs. No matter what the budget or room size you could get a nice setup.

Yeah Berny I guess you're right. I would like to ask if it would benefit me to hook my JBL 4311 Control monitors into my current system as additional mains (the receiver is designed for it). Maybe I could use my Scott receiver and make it work that way without using more power from the main receiver.

My question is though if is I should add more speakers in at all. I like to turn it up as loud as it'll safely go for like 2 minutes sometimes so yeah. Hey, let me get the SPL meter and see how loud it is right now without them (not full volume, just what I'm listening to ATM). Alright, I listen usually at about 85dB for music and movies. When the bass peaks it probably hits around 114dB from what the SPL meter says.

Thanks!
