Any help here would be much appreciated.

I just got a new LG 5-disc home theater system with XM-radio for Christmas (LH-E9674PA). My cable box has DVI and the DVD player that comes with the system is HDMI.

I have tried to run the cable box sound through the DVD player via Digital Optical Audio, but I can't seem to get it to work so I can listen to HD-TV in surround sound.

Does anybody have any suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Cory
