I got this system new for 434 shipped (www.jr.com) and I have to say were very happy with it. This is my first system but I have a good amount of friends with systems custom and all N ones HTIBs like this.

I use mine to play all of my audio from my cable box (optical input) so with 2ch and HD 5.1 digital it sounds really good. It has all of the EQ settings but I leave it on Pass and have no complaints.

I'm using HDMI out to my plasma for DVD signals.

I'm' happy with it and if I can help answer any questions I'll be happy to help out...it seems like a good starter system for the money.

Also with the In/outputs that most want today.
