Hi i brought this speakers today and i tested it on pc and on my dvd player. performance on dvd player was good. but when i tested on pc poor performance. its my onboard soundcard.

should i buy 5.1 sound card? is it worth buying. will it improve its performance.
i've been listening to JBL and altech lansing so i feel these logitech z-5300 re poor in front of them. will 5.1 sound card improve sound quality or it will be a waste of money. please your reviews.

Yes, A new soundcard will greatly improve performance, provided that it's one of good quality. Consider an X-Fi by Creative, or the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy. Both have superior quality.
