As part of the troubleshooting procedure, I eliminated all the components down to a very simple DVI to DVI connection between the Scientific Atlanta 3250HD cable set top box and my 200M65 Hitachi and I still had the intermittent Copyright Protection Warning. I called the cable company, they blamed Hitachi. Called Hitachi, they blamed the cable box. I INSISTED that the cable company give me a new box and low and behold, problem solved no more Copyright Protection errors. If you have tried everything else, maybe it's just the firmware in your set top box!!! Now maybe your issues are more complex then mine, but it's worth a try. Hope this helps, Paul
