I am looking at the Energy c-500 speaker package. I listened to them by the dealer and they sounded great. He had them connected to a stereo Yammy.I'm intending on buying an av receiver that will produce the same quality as the stereo and obviously setting up a 5.1 or 7.1 setup as well. I've heard that the yammy receivers go well with the energy speakers. Is this true?? and how does that compare to a Onkyo, polk combination. is it true that certain specific brands go well together?
Any feedback will be much appreciated. |

I live in South Africa, electronics are much more expensive here than in US or Uk. The local dealer has a special on a Yammy v1600 for R11900 ($1500)the special includes the dvd player and Energy C-30 with surrounds($2000),10" sub($600).Total package price $4000. I am seriously considering this setup. What do you think of the pairing between receiver and speakers ?? |
