i tried googling and stuff but i couldnt get a perfect answer. is it possible to turn a optical or coax into 6 analog cables? |

huh?
the problem is my receiver only has the 6 analog cable inputs and my cable box only has coax,optical and left-right analog output. |

What I was trying to tell you was, you will need a receiver that is capable of accepting digital audio. It is unfortunate but that is what you need.
What receiver is it?
You can also get a pre/pro that accepts Digital inputs and that has 6 channel analog outputs. |
