Bought the excellent ps1200 two years ago and its been great.
Just recently i have noticed odd sounds comming from it when music of movies are played which has thumping bass, there noise comming out from it. Is that port noise? I dont suppose i blew this sub as it does not emit any odd sounds when playing music which has less bass, bass/sound is fine.
Help please....anyone
frequency cutt of is 80, levels has never been exceeded 55 - 60%. Never did trash this sub! |

You need to be more specific about the kind of noise being emitted. Port noise does not just appear randomly, if it has port noise it will be there from the beginning and usually marked by a chuffing or whooshing sound. |

Hi
I did check it again and listed to that sub for over an hour, tried various music and movies and it seems its a rattle.
In music The harder the beat , harder the rattle, like something is loose inside.
For movies I tried
Alien Vs Predator , chapter 1 , where there was some space ship scene - i could hear the rattle
I am not sure what it is,
Is something loose or ................
