I have connected my laptop to the TV, but the sound comes out of the laptop speakers. What wires & connections do I need to use to get the sound from the TV?

You need an audio connection from your laptop to the tv. You have only connected video.
You need an audio cable to connect to the audio input of your tv. |

I agree with Berny you need to get an audio cable and connect the audio input to your TV and output cable to your Laptop and you are done. |

I want to hook up my plasma to my computer as well. All I see on the back is a 9 pin connector, hdmi, s video and rca cords... can I do it? |

Hi Stephen, Yah you can connect your pc to Plasma. For audio output you can use either audio out cable or connect your laptop with good speakers. |
