I'm looking for a new home theatre system and have read some reviews on the above. Everyone seems to love them. I am by no means looking for a professional type of system. Just something to put in my home and enjoy movies and music. I know these are fairly old speakers, but if I found a new pair for around $400 is this a good deal? Any help is appreciated.

A pair? I believe this is a 6-piece system with a center, 4 satellites and a subwoofer. Ebay is currently has it for ~ $280 including shipping:

This is a very good speaker system for under $300, especially if you can find a new one.
