Yeah, I bought these speakers 'bout 2 years ago and honestly they don't sound as good as the 4.1 my brother have. Is it because of my soundcard (SoundBlaster Audigy Z Platinum)? Or something else. The sound itself is good, but I can't really power the subwoofer past 45 volume (creative media) without hearing alot of distortion. Any input will be appreciated. Thanks!!! |

Same setup at home but I have the 5.1 with Klipsch Sub. Is the a possibility that the filter is not set right on the sound card and there are to many highs going to the Sub |

No, the problem is, that there is not a lot of thought put in on computer speakers. It is not like a regular home theater set-up. Don't expect too much of PC speakers or your sound card. the best you can do is go to the advance settings of your soundcard and play with the equalizer. |
