I got a JVC 6.1 dvd player & amp. the speakers (including the amp) all have speaker wire out.

My speaker set has a powered sub, with all the inputs into it. All the inputs r speker wire, except for the sub, whivh has L&R low level input, as a phono connectio.

The dvd player/amp does not have low level out :-(

are the DVD player and amp separate units? What kind of DVD player is it? If it has a line level output, such as L/R channel output, you could try using that to connect to the sub. If it has a 6 channel analog output, you can use the subwoofer or LFE output.

Check the amp if it has LFE out, usually only 1 RCA jack, then use that.

what model are we talking about, maybe that will help determine the type of connections you need. Still have the manual?
