I purchased this yesterday and set it up today. i was not expecting anywhere near the sound and picture quality that it put out. 1000 watts rms. HDMI. 1080i up- conversion XM ready usb host prog. scan 5 DVD changer dolby prologic II awesome highs. loud mids. and deep lows. this thing rocks! all for $380. i would recommend this to anyone with a tight budget, this surround sound is one of the better choices for the money. (if you have seen the HT-Q40, dont be detered by its performance, i personally HATE the 40. the 70 is so much better) i hooked it up to my 360 tonight and played most wanted, i swear it was like being in the drivers seat, only without the g-forces. the sound was incredible. thought i'd throw that out there |

Nice, but that unit does not put out anywhere near 1000 watts. |

I have this exact same system and although it does say 1000 watts total on the box I doubt it's 1000 rms........ still an awesome system! |

The fact that you think it is awesome is the point of the purchase, isn't it? It is just awful that people brag about the wattage all the time not thinking about what they are saying. |
