Hello everybody, Have often visted, but now I find myself in need of some advice. I recently came into ownership of a set of speakers for sound (5 total + subwoofer all panasonic). Issue is that I've got the bare wire on the end of the speakers, and all the TV's i'm looking at are RCA jacks. I can live without the surround sound If i must, but i'm somewhat stuck on how to get any type of connection up and running! Thank you all for any and all help. |

It doesn’t quite work that way, you must attach your speakers to an amplifier. The outputs you see on the TV’s are the just sending the signal, that signal must pass through an amplifier before going to the speakers. And if you want to make use of your 5 speakers and .1 sub (hehe) you’ll need an amp that supports 5.1. |

How cheap is cheap? Also, the RCA jacks on most TV's are input jacks. Make sure your TV does have audio output. |

It's audio output, no doubt. Cheap is well, cheap. Just need some good suggestions of directions to possibly go. Thanks. |
