The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) has specific recommendations about the viewing environment. http://www.cinemaquestinc.com/ideal_viewing.htm You can choose any color you want, as long as it's gray. |

Judging from the anount of problems you see with HDMI hookups, hangin's about all they're good for. BTW, my HT is off-white and that's what she's going to stay. |
