I want to hook up my computers sound to my tv's receiver box. Is this http://www.thesourcecc.com/estore/Product.aspx?language=en-CA&catalog=Online&cat egory=Cable+Adapters&product=4202481 all I need to hook up this http://www23.brinkster.com/ddrmidizone/soundcard.jpg to this http://www23.brinkster.com/ddrmidizone/box.jpg IN conclusion, I want my computer's sound through my new plasma. Please tell me if this is the right cable for the job or if there is a different one I need to use, Im pretty audio illiterate. |

Your soundcard link did not work for me, but assuming that your sound card has a mini jack output, then that's what you need. I'm not sure what you mean by your "TV's receiver box" though. |

Just hook up the red and white to the red and white receiver right and plug the other end into my computers green sound port right? |

I found these pics on the internet obviously, but thats almost exactly what my receiver looks like, im currently running the s-video to my computer and since my desktop speakers are crap. I want it coming out my t.v. |

If you plug the RCA cables (red and white) to your receiver, you'll be getting sound out of the speakers connected to your receiver, not your TV, but yes. |
