Maybe someone can help me. My Insignia 6.1 surround will work and sound beautiful for about 10 minutes, then the speakers start humming and the sound is distorted. Is something overheating? Tried different speakers, same thing.

Return it and get another unit or a different brand all together. You cannot fix that yourself and even if you can, would it really make sense to do so? It would cost you more to fix it and let's face it, Insignia is not exactly a keeper.
