Hi. I am looking for some new klipsch speakers. My friend owns the 2.1 and i love the sound. Being a college student i am about to move into my new house. It has a decent size living room. I want to provide surround sound for the movies and entertainment. On ebay i am looking at some satellite speakers out of a 5.1 promedia kit. Am i able to hook these up to a receiver and use them? Im not really in the hunt for an amazing sound system. Just something that sounds good. Any ideas? Can i buy four satellites and use them as front and surround and buy a seperate klipsch center and a seperate bass/subwoofer? Thanks

i dont know what type of connectors these have, but you can always cut them off and run the bare wire to the rec.s speaker terminals, but be Careful with the volume until you learn their power handling capabilities. may want to keep those connectors too.
