Okay so I dragged this PoS out of storage the other day when my computer's decoder fried while playing a game. So out comes the decoder I thought I had thrown away for good reason, but I said, hell, let's give it a try.

So the price of an optical cable later I have the thing plugged in and ready to go, plays all music CDs, DVDs, and even radio, but I cannot get the optical audio in (from the only optical input on the back of the system) to output to the speakers. Yes, the optical is running properly, and what not, I need someone with an instruction manual to post the steps to getting the digital audio in to output to the speakers if I could please?

If I can't get this to work I'll have to spend aroud $300 for a new decoder for the computer, and I'm really not looking forward to that.

Thanks in advance!
