I have a Dell Media Center PC. I purchased a Creative Home Theater Connect DTS-610 to feed digital sound from the PC into my Onkyo HT receiver. This works well.

In addition to controlling speakers in my media room, this 2-zone receiver can feed sound to a Russound Speaker Selector box, which controls ceiling-mounted speakers throughout the house. All I use Zone 2 for is to play CD's and pipe it thru the house. I'd like to use it to pipe music channels, XM radio, iPod, etc. thru the house.

BUT, the Onkyo can't take the digital input and convert it to analog output to the Selector box.

I was told that Marantz HT receivers would do this, but have since found out that isn't correct.

Has anyone had similar issues, and what did you do to fix it?
