Hi all and thanks in advance for any advice you can offer...
I use a Scientific Atl. 3250HD (Explorer) cable box through Time Warner. I am connecting the DVI-D cable to my RCA 26" widescreen LCD HDTV. The roadblock I cannot seem to overcome is a message I receive... "COPY PROTECTION; The HDMI/DVI output is blocked. Press EXIT to continue." Now, I am getting a picture w/sound but it is NOT in the HD format. Has ANYBODY heard of this and know a solution? I have contacted Time Warner repeatedly and they cannot give me an explanation. Time Warn. rep says there is no blocking and it should work. Well, I switched out with another HD 3250 I have in the living room but STILL SAME MESSAGE! Please help and thank you for your input!
