I'm just in the process of building up a home theatre system and am trying to decide on my next purchase. I'm currently running a Marantz SR5400 receiver, Toshiba DVD player and Jamo E855 floorstanders. What would you recommend my next speaker purchase be: a Centre, a sub or surrounds? As I'm on a budget I'm trying to figure out what I would get the most benefit from. |

Its a tight race between a center channel or a subwoofer. I think I would get the center channel first. Spend what you can because the center channel handles a great deal of audio information and skimping here will not be ideal. |

Thanks for the advice, I guess with my floorstanders I can get a reasonable amount of bass already but the centre will make a big difference in voice clarity for movies. |
