I know nothing about electronic equipment. I just got a new Sony KD34XBR960N High Def tv and a Sony Dream DAV X1 DVD machine. I also have a cable box with an hdmi output on it. Could I please get some advice on how to wire these things up together to maximize the video and sound quality? I'm not sure connect all these optic and hdmi ports together. I'm a noob. The manual did not seem clear to me.
