Hello all...

I'm really enjoying this forum, and find it to be a great resource.

I'm getting a 42" plasma soon, and will be putting it in the corner of a room. I will have a typical HTIB set up (seperates: DVD, Receiver, and Dish HD receiver), and I am looking for ideas on an inexpensive and good looking solution to hold the new t.v. I am fairly handy with wood, so not opposed to building my own that way, or could use good ideas for metal/glass systems that could be had on the cheap. Thanks in advance for any input.

Well, for the corner of a room, there are TV stands and entertainment system furniture designed for CRT TVs that will work fine... Unlike a wall unit, where you might want something to showcase the slimness of a plasma... in a corner, it's moot.

I went with an unfinished furniture place (but had them finish it). This way I got solid wood (and some veneer over plywood) for roughly the cost of particle board construction at other furniture stores.
