i have just recently purchased a toshiba 42wlt58 tv & a toshiba sd350e dvd....i would like to purchase a 5:1 surround speaker system to link-up...is this possible??...if so, what is the best system to purchase??....how can i link up the speakers to enable both tv & dvd surround sound capability?? thanks in anticipation.. |

Yes it is possible. Let us not worry about the "best". You'll find extreme difficulty in determining which would be the best. Do you have a budget? What is available in your area? Are you willing to use internet companies? |

hi berny...thanks for your reply - my budget is £200 - my problem is that most speaker systems come "bundled" with a dvd player/recorder which i do not require - i purchased both my tv & dvd player from internet companies!! |

Martin, If you do not want a "bundled" system you are going to need a receiver and a separate set of speakers. You may end up spending more than your required budget. |
