I am looking for a nice home theater system to connect to my 60in Plasma TV. I have no knowledge on what is good out there....
If you had $1,500-$2,000, What Items would you get....Recievers speakers dvd player etc....

Please help..

Spend most of the money on good speakers and a subwoofer. (~$1500) Get a middle of the line receiver (~$350) and a bottom of the line DVD player (~$150) for now so you can get going. Later upgrade your receiver and DVD player when you can budget more money
