I recently inherited an old speaker system from my grandfather when he passed, and i love it. they are old, from the year 1991, but they are very nice i think. they are technics sb-s3200. i dont think you can find any info on them because of the age, but the sound they produce is amazing.
they have two speaker towers each holding two 10" woofers, a 4in speaker, and a 1" tweeter.

i was thinking of upgrading and i dont really know much about speakers, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

What is wrong with the current speakers? If you like the way they sound, there is no reason to upgrade.

If you do want to get new speakers, what is your budget?

I have the Paradigm Monitor 9 v2 fronts, 370 v3 center, and Atom v3 rears, and 12" sub. I have a Yamaha Rx-V620 Receiver and wanted to know if I could do better as far as quality of sound and clarity are concerned. I know these are not Studio Models, but wanted to get the best I could out of them.
Thanks,
Joe
