I have a 5.1 system consisting of Paradigm's. Today I was watching American Idol and the sound just was not the same as when I watch Mtv or Cmt.
The vocals were flat, screechy and usually kind of off key. I looked at my wife and she had a pained look on her face!
I thought Paradigm's where supposed to be a good speaker, but I guess I was wrong. Can you guys recommend a better speaker for me?

Uh, you were watching American Idol. That's what they do on that show, flat, screechy and off key.

Update.....Talked to Simon a bit ago and he said that he is starting a certification for speakers and is calling it "KME" (Killing Music Enjoyment).
Simon said that the first speakers he will certify is the Koss line.
I'll be looking online hope I find a good deal.

I'd wait until he certifies Bose and KLH. Then you'd have some choice.
