I have a digital cable box,vcr,and dvd player hooked up to my television my promblem is I would like to program my vcr to record on several stations. I can't do that because my vcr only recognizes channel 3 so how do I hook up my vcr to record other stations. I hope I explained it well.

Paul,
You can re-wire your system by connecting the incoming cable into thr VCR first, and then out from the VCR into the cable box and then into the TV. You must then program the VCR's tuner to the cable channels. This would enable you to set multiple programs on multiple channels on the cable. You would, however, be limited to recording only those channels that are not encoded, or scrambled, by the cable company.
