I've recently moved into my new home, and it has been prewired for surround sound. 2 speakers up front with TV about 8' high, and 2 speakers by the back couch 8' high. I have the equipment, and the brackets. My question is how to get the wires in the wall to the right slot on the Receiver? I was told to hook up all the speakers, and then rub a live battery on the speaker wires to hear a crackling sound. At that point knowing which speaker is which...I've tried that, and didn't get anything...HELP!? THANKS! |

Hook one speaker up, turn on the audio then label it. Continue untill you get which is which. You should have Front and Rear R & L on the back of the receiver. |
