I didn't See "The Fifth Element" on your list. Great movie, good action comedy. Great sound. Superbit version is a great demo.

I think I would recommend a NetFlix account instead!

Pretty soon you will have to switch to HD video discs.

HD for newer movies probably. I doubt if a lot of the pre-2000 movies will be released again. 5th element is a good recomendation. Thanks!

Amadeus Director's Cut....Gorgeous for the eye and ear. "Making of" extra excellent.

This is Spinal Tap............funniest movie ever. An hour's worth of outtakes almost as good as the movie.

Das Boot Directors Cut........best sub movie ever.

Godfather I and II.......best gangster movies ever.

The Bridge on the River Kwai......best movie ever.

One of my favorite movies of all time is "Ragtime." It was the last movie James Cagney made. The name might sound boring, but you will not be dissapointed. look into it.

"john - spinal tap is the next one i am getting"

Hard to believe these guys ad-libbed most of the dialog, and they actually play the instruments.

BTW, I re-viewed Office Space last night. I had forgotten how funny it is.

"My wife was dissapointed that you didn't have "Moonstruck" as one of your favourites. You may want to check it out."

This is a very good "organic" romantic comedy that combines an interesting story with a good cast. Personally I love to hate Cher, but she, along with "stone face" Nick Cage are believeable in this one. Credit director Norman Jewison (and and the script) for this cinematic delight.

"Dont be a menace to south central while drinking your juice in the hood"

This spoof on the early nineties "hood" movies is a bit uneven, but when it's funny it's hilarious. Does anybody know how many Wayans brothers there are?
