I just got a sony HTiB for my birthday and Im tryin to figure out why it wont work well with my DVR. Im tryin to hook it up to a 32" sony wega flat screen t.v. and my adelphia DVR. I think i got all of it set up right, but for some reason with my cable it just dont sound as loud or as good as it does with my dvd player. Is there something i need to change on my Dvr cable box or on my t.v.? Please help, im really confused and it really bugs me!

Ashley,
Most cable boxes and DVRs have an independent volume control on the front. Make sure the volume is up all the way (or very near it) on that control.
