I have a very old RCA tv. I want to put a sound system on it for videogames, but don't know what kinds of cables/adapters I would need, assuming it's possible at all. The only thing on the back of the tv is a plug for the Gamecube's RF Switch.

you will need an RF MODULATOR. Get the gamecube cables that have the standard or s-video cables and the surround sound audio. Use the rf modulator to send the video to the tv and hook the audio up to the surround sound reciever.
