i am stuck and very confused, i bought a televison and a xbox 360 and a 7.1 surround sound.
i was wondering if you could tell me if they are compatible. im sure you know the 360, my tv is on the link below

Your problem is you bought your xbox thinking it will produce sound through the speakers. Yes it does produce sounds, much like a DVD player, but you can't hook up a DVD to speakers directly. You need amplification through a receiver or amplifier.

Now your other problem is that the speakers your bought are PC speakers for multimedia. They can only work (as far as I know) with a PC sound card. I don't know of regular receivers that drive PC speakers so you have to look around.
