Which would you choose?

I'll just be watching DVD's and playing music, nothing too fancy. However, if I wanted to get surround sound from my cable TV, I would go with the Pioneer, right? If so, could anyone give me some insight on how I would make that hookup?

Any help would be grealty appreciated. Thanks.

I wouldn't recommend a HTIB. Bad sound and low quality video. Do you have budget to build a real HT from components?
