My AV guy is suggesting the following components for my home theatre system:
Onkyo SR503 Receiver $400, Altantic Technologies PS10 Powered Subwoofer$500, Bose center channel speaker, Russound Twist/Tilt ceiling speakers$245. I am new at this and getting a little bit of a headached doing research. I have a Samsung DLP Tv and would like to use the HDMI capabilty. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, what is a Panny?

Forget the Bose and I don't know much about the Russound speakers. Instead concentrate on a set of matching speakers that you like and fit the room you are looking for.

For $500 I would highly recommend you look at the HSU subwoofers.
