I have a Yamaha HTR-5650 and can't figure out how to set the volume indicator on the receiver. When I turn it down to no volume in shows -30db, not 0db. Is there a way to calibrate the indicator?

ummmmmmm.... that's not how it works.... 0db is loud. at -30 my yamaha 5990 is at average movie watching volume. think about it as gain. not a 1 to 10 scale.
