Just got a Insignia 1000 watt from Best Buy. I hooked everything up but can't get home theater speakers to play from Tv

How is your tv hooked up to your receiver? How is the rest of the equipment hooked up?

I have the receiver hooked up to the tv with a s video cable. I want to hook the tv and playstation 2 up so I can hear everything on the ht speakers.I followed the instructions they gave me but it was tough to follow with the black and white illustrations.
The only other thing I have hooked up are the RCA cables that came with the system exactly how they have illustrated on the diagram.
I can't figure out how to run the cable line from my tv into the home theater receiver. There is no place to put it.

Run cables from your audio/video out on your TV (not composite or s-vid) to the a/v in 1 or a/v 2 jacks on the receiver. Then turn on your TV and choose av 1 or av 2 on the (DVD) receiver depending on where you have them hooked up
